Don Rao

Mr. Don Rao was one of the first Network Consultants to join BioPharma Advisors in 2004. Don currently works on the Benchmarks in Thought Leader Management Survey.   

Mr. Rao is a recognized expert in quantitative marketing research and marketing sciences and has helped increase the return on sales and marketing investment for pharmaceutical and advanced technology clients.  He has a solid pharmaceutical background, is skilled in relationship building, and has a broad knowledge of drug types and disease entities most often found in the pharmaceutical arena. He is a pro-active thinker and has worked in consulting, product marketing, and in business development areas of consumer products.

Mr. Rao has a PhD in Engineering Sciences from Clarkson College of Technology, Potsdam, NY; an MS in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research from Oregon State University, Corvallis, OR; a DIIT in Industrial Management from IIT, in Madras, India; and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Andhra University in Waltair, India.




Kathryn Anders

Ms. Kathryn Anders was the first Network Consultant to join BioPharma Advisors in 2003.  She provides administrative and clerical support to many consultants in a virtual fashion.  She has worked with Senior and Junior executive level management and is excellent at meeting facilitation.



Vince DeChellis

Mr. Vince DeChellis became a Network Consultant in 2005.  He works on Strategic Management projects with Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Clients as well as suppliers to these types of clients.  He has his own consulting practice called New Hope Healthcare Consulting.

Mr. DeChellis is an accomplished pharmaceutical marketer and health information technology professional, providing business solutions and strategic planning to companies in the life sciences arena. He is experienced in a wide range of industry and healthcare initiatives and is recognized as a strategic thinker.

Mr. DeChellis draws on a rich business and marketing background, allowing him to help clients achieve their goals using highly focused planning, strategic and tactical marketing services and sales support. His extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, supported by management positions in sales, marketing, managed care, life cycle management and e-Business, provide the foundation for his broad knowledge of the healthcare marketplace.

Mr. DeChellis is dedicated to developing real-time business strategies and online/off line solutions to enhance education, patient connectivity and improved healthcare within the consumer and healthcare professional communities. His work spans numerous therapeutic areas with clients that include manufacturers, nonprofit organizations, academic institutions, healthcare providers, and HIT vendors. In addition to Mr. DeChellis’ consulting services, he is a board member of two companies in the life sciences industry.

Frank Leonard

Mr. Leonard, who joined the Network as a consultant in 2009, works with new clients in a business development capacity. He has more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry coupled with a sophisticated knowledge of product and reimbursement programs in managed care. He has demonstrated expertise in creating effective working relationships with key influencers for product advocacy and pull through initiatives on formularies. 

Previously, Mr. Leonard was a top producing account manager with a broad range of experience and record of success acquiring and growing key accounts. With a demonstrated expertise in business development, revenue/profit enhancement, and development of strategic partnerships, he keenly articulates today's healthcare market trends and key growth areas for the industry. Through his years of sales and marketing experience at GlaxoSmithKline, InterMune, and Prestwick Pharmaceuticals, as well as consulting with Johnson and Johnson and Ovation Pharmaceuticals, he helped position small and medium sized pharma, biotech and medical device clients to leverage technology and increase revenue. 

Mr. Leonard graduated from Wabash College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. He resides in Zionsville, Indiana with his wonderful wife and three children and enjoys snow skiing, running and outdoor hiking.
